It sounds unbelievable that someone is able not to love the famous “Turkey with mlinci” but it sounds logical that someone is forced to avoid it. For example, those that watch their weight.
The thick cream sauce, the greasy, strong cheese, turkey prepared on butter- all that combined with mlinci which are made from white flour! This is definitely not a dish for those that are getting prepared to get into the bathing suit!
Ingredients
about 350 g of turkey breast cut into strips
one heaping tablespoon of Moja Kravica butter
about 450 g of a broccoli and cauliflower mix
a small carrot
2-3 cloves of garlic or the leaves of a spring garli
about 70 g of gorgonzola
about 100 ml of vegetable soup
about 200 ml of the neutral cooking cream Moja Kravica Kuhinjica
salt, pepper
Preparation
Fry the meat on garlic and make sure not to overdo it, so it remains juicy. Season it mildly with salt and pepper.
Blanch briefly the carrot-cut into thin circles, the broccoli and cauliflower in boiling water- briefly, around 2 minutes. They should remain firm because thy will be further baked in the oven and sauce.
In a ceramic or a glass baking dish, greased with butter, arrange the vegetables and sprinkle a little bit of salt- then place finely chopped garlic on top of it (or garlic leaves). Add the turkey, and over it put blue cheese crumbs and pour the sauce evenly over it.
Bake at 200 degrees so the dish cooks in well, until the cheese that’s on top obtains a golden color (around 20-30 minutes).
ADVICE: This is a dish in which the measurements you can adjust to your taste- because you can’t go wrong. Also, you can play with the ingredients and use chicken fillet or use a different tasting cheese instead of the blue cheese, like Pecorino cheese.
