Some dishes are not considered healthy and interesting just because they are made from good quality meat or freshly prepared vegetables. Some dishes are made even healthier by the spices they are added. They are not just strong antioxidants, but they completely change the aroma- so they often remind us of a distant corner of the world which we haven’t visited yet…
Curry and ginger are very popular spices and give dishes an exotic note. Ginger can be all-present and very practical for use, so if you decide not to put it in tea or lemonade, it can always be meat’s good friend- to accompany pork or salmon, just as well as chicken.
Curry is a separate story! In India, households prepare it themselves, so the recipes vary. It usually consists of curcuma, coriander, cardamom, cumin and red pepper- it is also possible to include caraway, garlic, basil, cinnamon… We can buy this complex spice readymade in stores.
Ingredients
2 large pieces of chicken fillet
500 ml of Moja Kravica Kuhinjica cooking cream
½ teaspoon of ginger powder
1 level teaspoon of curry
salt and pepper
teaspoon of mustard (spicy, if you like it)
a little bit of dry thyme
a cube of Moja Kravica butter
Preparation
Cut the chicken in large pieces. Melt the butter and stir in the curry and ginger, and rub the meat with this mixture well. Leave the meat in spices for a bit. Cook the meat, preferably on a grill plate and season with salt during frying.
Put the Moja Kravica Kuhinjica cooking cream in a small pan, add the mustard, thyme and pepper and bring to boil. When it boils, turn of the stove and add the chicken breast in the sauce.
ADVICE: Because of the curry and ginger taste, a wonderful side dish would be a sautéed or grilled green pepper and basmati rice. Another good side dish is grilled zucchini.
