Beef in a Creamy Sauce

After a quick breakfast, and a stressful and long hard day of work spent in the office, doctor’s practice or a factory – family lunch is what brings back the strength. And not only through its healthy nutrient-rich ingredients served on a plate – but also through talking, spending time together with those who mean the most to us. While you are enjoying together the delicious smells of tender beef and delightfulness of the creamy sauce – you know that only family and food can entirely refresh your day.


  • 500 g of beef steaks

  • 400 ml of the Moja Kravica Kuhinjica cooking cream

  • 400 g of champignon mushrooms

  • 1 leek

  • oil

  • salt

  • pepper

  • a glass of white wine


  1. Pound the steaks and season them with salt and pepper. Pan fry them on both sides and then pour over them the white wine. Lower the temperature and leave them to cook until they are completely soft. It usually takes about 40 minutes. Be careful not to let all the liquid evaporate before the steaks turn soft enough. When they become tender, take them out of the pan and place them on the plate.

  2. Cut the leek and fry it shortly in oil, in a pan where you previously cooked the steaks. Then add chopped mushrooms and spices. Once the mushrooms are cooked and all the liquid evaporates add the Moja Kravica Kuhinjica cooking cream and cook for another 3-4 minutes. Put the steaks back into the mushroom cream sauce. Serve with mashed potatoes or your favorite pasta.

  3. ADVICE: don’t forget that you can also fry the steaks in the evening. Turn off the stove when they turn soft and tomorrow you will be able to finish the dish in no time!
