Belgrade, December 5, 2019 – The company Imlek was among the winners of the certificate on the contribution to the savings of carbon dioxide emissions for 2018, with savings of 1,880.92 tons of carbon dioxide.
The stated amount of savings in greenhouse gas emissions, the company Imlek has achieved through effective participation in meeting national targets for recycling and reuse of packaging waste. Since 2006, as one of the leaders in the field of packaging waste management, Sekopak from year to year makes thousands of tons of packaging waste end up in recycling plants, and thus significantly affects the overall development of waste management in our country.
The company Imlek nurtures a long-term partnership with the company Sekopak, with which it has so far organized numerous socially responsible activities, through which it has contributed to the preservation of the environment. Together, both companies are trying to draw public attention to the importance and need for such activities, in order to ensure a greener future for future generations.
