Imlek donated textbook sets to primary school students from Zvečanska

Belgrade, August 30, 2016 – On the occasion of the start of a new school year, the Imlek Company donated textbook sets and Moja Kravica to the Centre for Protection of Infants, Children and Youth in Zvecanska. The Imlek Company continues to support and promote children education and with this aim, marked the beginning of a school year together with schoolchildren who go on making the time spent in school to be the one they will remember with fondness all their lives.

The ceremony was held at the Infirmary of the Zvecanska Centre during which the textbooks were handed out to the little ones. Representatives of the Imlek Company wished a happy and a successful start of the school year to 25 children attending the ceremony. The Imlek Company continues to deal with social issues and is especially committed to providing support to children and the socially vulnerable, as it is the case with Centre for Protection of Infants, Children and Youth in Zvecanska. Other Imlek’s charitable activities include donations of the dairy products to numerous homes and schools across the country, providing them with healthy dairy snacks with the aim of promoting the healthy development of children.

“The right to education is the basis of every society. Our company is striving to ensure that all children have not only a healthy, but also a carefree and happy childhood. With this in mind, we think that children without parental care should also be provided with the best possible conditions for growing up happily and healthy. This is just one of the actions that Imlek has been taking for many years with the aim of helping the most vulnerable groups”, said Marija Malovic, Public Relations Manager at Imlek.
