Belgrade, August 29, 2018 – In anticipation of the new school year, Imlek delighted all school-age children from the Shelter for Children as well as from the Center for the Protection of Infants, Children, and Youth "Zvečanska". All students without parental care from the territory of Belgrade received Moja Kravica backpacks as a gift with notebooks, pencil cases, pencils, but also Moja Kravica milk packets with products.

Marija Malović, the regional public relations manager of the Imlek company, also wished the students a happy return to school and pointed out: "We wanted to make the beginning of the new school year more beautiful for the students, as we have been doing for years, and to whom every form of attention means a great deal. We hope that school supplies will help them master the material while they will enjoy our products during breaks. For years, Imlek has been taking care of children without parental care through various donations, but also by organizing holiday celebrations such as New Year's and Christmas. This donation is just one of many supporting the youngest, wanting to provide them with a safe environment and a healthy upbringing. "

The Deputy Mayor of Belgrade, Goran Vesić, attended donation delivery. He stated: "The maturity of a society is reflected in the appearance of institutions that care for the most endangered categories of the population." Children without parental care certainly belong to that group, and the Center for the Protection of Infants, Children, and Youth, better known as Zvečanska, takes care of almost 530 children. Almost 380 employees take care of them, and today the Imlek company with which the City has excellent cooperation donated school supplies for all children who attend primary school. In that way, the situation in which they find themselves will be somewhat alleviated. The city of Belgrade has invested around 10 million dinars in this center in the previous three years, and we will continue to invest not only in budget funds but also through the help of socially responsible companies. We owe a great deal of gratitude to the employees of the Center because the work they do cannot be adequately compensated with money. This job can only be done with great love and it is the only way to help these children get through the extremely difficult period in which they find themselves. On behalf of the City of Belgrade, I thank the company "Imlek" for the donation, and I invite other companies to react and join us in the next actions of this type. I want my children from the Center for the Protection of Infants, Children, and Youth, who attend school, to complete their education and after that become valuable members of our society. "

On that occasion, the City Secretary for Social Protection, Natasa Stanisavljevic, pointed out: "I am extremely glad that, in addition to us, others want to help children protected by protection centers, and therefore I owe gratitude to the company Imlek, which constantly provides us with support." Also, I am glad that Imlek, in addition to its market orientation, finds a way for social responsibility, which greatly contributes to the overall well-being of our community. The smiles of these little ones speak best, and we believe that they will now be additionally motivated to learn and that their Moja Kravica notebooks will be full of good grades. "
